Churches Together

We are part of  Churches Together in Bingham (CTB)
CTB meets regularly to worship and study together and also raise awareness of global issues through our various fundraising efforts.

We have now launched our new project.
The aim is to raise £2,000 to help fund a tuk tuk in Sri Lanka through the
Rosie May Foundation

Thank you to all who have supported Christian Aid 2017. With your help we raised £912.41

Our youth and families worker holds events at the Methodist Centre and the Parish Church.

Every couple of years we embark on a new overseas fundraising project. Over the last two years we have been working with the local Police Aid Convoy to raise money for a project in Zambia which is enabling women to become financially independent and also to keep girls in education. Last year we  handed over a cheque for £1,000 and we have now raised the second £1,000 which has been handed over.

CTB has a walking group. Click if you would like to see the programme for 2017. These walks are varied and all are welcome to join in. They usually start and finish near a suitable place for drinks. It is a very friendly group and open to all - of any faith - or none. During the winter months we walk once a month on a Saturday and during the lighter evenings we walk fortnightly alternating between Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
